Why choose used clothes?

1. Because it is more ecological. In Slovenia alone, the average citizen throws away 70 kilograms of clothes every year. Of these, at least some are still completely usable, some are even flawless or never worn. Recycling clothing is difficult, as there are only a few with a 100% cotton content, most of them have at least a few percent artificial fibers, so they are not suitable for recycling, and at the same time, these artificial masses burden the environment at least as much as other plastic waste. By buying second-hand clothes, you directly reduce the amount of clothes that end up in landfills each year.

2. Because it's healthier. The new cotton clothes in stores are mostly still impregnated with poisons that were used to kill pests in the cotton fields. When you bring a new garment from the store, be sure to wash it first to wash away these toxins. However, all traces of harmful substances are washed away only after many washes.

3. Because you save. Second-hand clothes are much more wallet-friendly.

How does the exchange work?

Go through your closets and find clothes that are in good condition, but you don't wear them and would like to exchange them for something else. Wash the clothes and bring them to the exchange office. Choose new clothes and take them home. We have some clothes left over from the last time, so we will also be happy if you just come to look for clothes without bringing anything.

Which clothes come into play?

You can bring any ADULT clothing, regardless of season. Children's clothes are out of the question this time. Clothing must be in good condition, suitable for wear. Upon arrival, we will check the clothes brought and if they are not suitable for wearing, they will be rejected.

The purpose of the exchange is not just to get rid of clothes, but to also take a certain number of items, so that it is actually an exchange. If you don't want to exchange clothes, then it might be better to donate them. If you don't have any clothes to exchange, you can still come to socialize, get to know us or choose some clothes.

You can also sell clothes for a nominal price.

If there are any clothes left over after the event, we will donate them.

Where are we?
Nush Yoga Shala is located in the industrial zone of Lucija, at Liminjanska 94d (if you use GPS, I recommend that you enter the number 96 instead, so it won't take you on the wrong side).

Directions: From the main Koper-Sečovlje road, turn towards the Lucija industrial zone at the roundabout (turn left from the direction of Koper, right from the direction of Sečovlje) and follow the priority road. When you pass Agraria and Eurospin, at the intersection do not follow the priority right towards the police, but turn LEFT. Drive along this road until you see a large brick building on the right, and next to it is a glass building that houses the Shala - first floor. Parking is available directly next to the building.
